The East Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security (KPKP) Sub-agency ensures that tempeh production is still running normally.
Cipayung Sub-district KPKP Executing Unit Head Risa Maurina said, based on the monitoring results in the field, the 20 tempeh producers activities at the Primkopti Setu Cooperative were still running as usual.

One of producers, Ranti Indah Kuntari (30), added every day around 20 to 30 kg of tempeh were produced. Yet the price had increased by about 20 percent, from Rp 10,000 to Rp 12,000 for tempeh in the size of 20x30 cm.
She explained that the price hike on tempeh was adjusted to the price hike on soybean as a raw material for making tempeh.
"Certainly we continue to produce to serve customers and to make ends meet," she stated.
